Triple Play Halts Blazer Upset Bid
Halfway through the game with Division 1 and ranked Cedarville, it looked lilke the upstart Blazers baseball squad was set for the upset of the season. Tied 2-2 in the 5th, the game got away on two freak plays. In the top of the fifth, the inning ending third out was lost in the sun and fell for a two run double for Cedarville.
OCU Baseball Sweeps Johnson Bible in Cincinnati
The OCU Basebal team kept it rolling on Saturday as they traveled to Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio, site of this year's NCCAA World Series, and swept regional foe Johnson Bible College by scores of 9-4 and 8-4. The sweep of the two games will hopefully clinch the number one seed for the Blazers at the regional tournament in two weeks.
OCU Baseball Adds Win Over OSU Mansfield
It was a case of good news bad news in Mansfield on Tuesday as the OCU Baseball team picked up their first ever win over OSU Mansfield 14 to 6 in the first game of a doubleheader, but lost a chance for a sweep when the Blazers lost the second game 8-7 in extra innings.

The Trailblazers baseballers picked up their seventh and eighth wins of the year with a twinbill sweep of Lincoln Christian University by scores of 3-0 and 7-0. Righthanders Steven Vogelgesang and Michael Blevins spun back to back shut outs on a windy Saturday at OCU. Vogelgesang gave up only two hits in a seven inning complete game effort while striking out 9.

A small ball park and a wind blowing out led to six home runs by Clark State and a sweep of the Blazers by scores of 10-3 and 11-8 in Springfield. Coach Greg Bigam sees his offense improving with 20 more hits in the doubleheader. History Continues to Elude Ohio Christian University Softball
There it is looming on the horizon. Sometimes seeming almost close enough to touch, close enough to grasp. Yet, the first win in program history continues to elude the Lady Trailblazers who lost both games of a double header against Ohio University-Chillicothe at Paint Stadium on Tuesday night.

OCU Baseball Sets Records in Thumping of Freewill
The Ohio Christian Baseball Squad had the hot bats on a cool evening at VA Stadium in Chillicothe, banging out a school record 17 hits and scoring a record 23 runs in thumping Freewill Baptist 23-4 Monday night.
The win also set another Blazer Baseball mark with the sixth win of the season marking the most wins in a season for OCU Baseball.
Blazers Baseball Pick up Fifth Win
The Ohio Christian Baseball Team picked up their fifth win of the young season with a 12 to 10 rain shortened win over Ohio University Chillicothe. The Blazers played in a cold consistent rain at the VA Stadium in Chillicothe, led the entire game and got the win when the umpires called the game after 6 innings when it became nearly impossible to hang on to the ball or the bat.
