Halfway through the game with Division 1 and ranked Cedarville, it looked lilke the upstart Blazers baseball squad was set for the upset of the season. Tied 2-2 in the 5th, the game got away on two freak plays. In the top of the fifth, the inning ending third out was lost in the sun and fell for a two run double for Cedarville.
The OCU Basebal team kept it rolling on Saturday as they traveled to Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio, site of this year's NCCAA World Series, and swept regional foe Johnson Bible College by scores of 9-4 and 8-4. The Ohio Christian Baseball Squad had the hot bats on a cool evening at VA Stadium in Chillicothe, banging out a school record 17 hits and scoring a record 23 runs in thumping Freewill Baptist 23-4 Monday night.
