The Lady Blazers traveled to rival World Harvest Bible College on Friday in an Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference match-up, defeating the Lady Warriors 85-39. Freshman guard Shelby Roe led another balanced OCU attack with 22 points, on 8 of 14 shooting from the field, 2 assists, and 2 steals.  Senior guard Brenda Carter added 20 points, on 9 of 12 shooting, and dished out 5 assists.&

Blazers Move to 19-3

The Trailblazers move to 19 and 3 with a win over Southern State by a score of 93 to 69. The team is now 8 and 0 in the Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference and could be the number one seed if they win against World Harvest Bible College on Friday. The Blazers had their hands full in Southern's shooting guard Tirrell Cumberland. Tirrell came into tonight's game averaging 35 points a game.

The team was back into regional play on Friday night against Crown College of Knoxville, TN. Crown started big and physical in the first few minutes of the game but their inexperience began to show as OCU pressured the ball at every position. The Trailblazer caused Crown to turn the ball over 38 times, a season record, which led the team to an 86 to 42 win.
