OCU Faculty Members Earn Doctorates
Dr. Rick Christman serves as the Vice President for Student Development and faculty member for OCU. He has been an integral part of the university since 2008. Christman earned his Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Ministry and Master of Arts in Advanced Leadership Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. His dissertation title is College Student Leadership: Examing the Relationship that Spiritual Well-Being and Gender have with the Leadership Practices of College Student Leaders. Christman is also the Senior Pastor at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church in Jackson, Ohio.
Dr. Deshea Simon has served as an adjunct faculty member at Ohio Christian University since 2011. She has recently received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Information Technology degree from Capella University. Simon also holds a Master of Science in Information Systems degree from Strayer University. Her course work included security, network architecture, and system design and her dissertation is entitled Information Systems Program Graduates: A Qualitative Case Study of Graduates’ Preparation and Job Needs.
