Bachelor of Psychology/Human Relations

The Psychology/Human Relations concentration of the AIM Program is comprised of 60 semester hours focused on preparing the student for graduate school. This program seeks to equip the student with a foundational grasp of human behavior and mental processes. Classes meet one night a week for four hours. A three hour class is typically completed in five weeks. Modules are completed sequentially with students taking one module at a time. The modules listed below are arranged into four 12-15 hour semesters.
Concentration Objectives
Students who complete the Psychology/Human Relations concentration should:
- Be able to integrate Christian Principles into their personal and professional life.
- Be able to conduct research in the field of psychology and appropriately report the findings of that
research. - Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of human psychology.
- Be able to articulate various counseling methodologies and their diagnostic application.
