OCU Hall of Fame Induction Set for April 13th
CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Ohio Christian University Athletic Department is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the OCU Athletic Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame committee has named Mike Holbrook and Randy Saultz as the newest inductees for the Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
Holbrook, currently serving as a District Superintendent for the Churches of Christ in Christian Union, made big contributions to the athletic department in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Holbrook served in various roles as a Coach, Recruiter, and Assistant Athletic Director.
Randy Saultz was a cornerstone member during the early years of OCU Soccer. Saultz played from 1982-1985 and was the very first NCCAA All-American for soccer in OCU history. Saultz would graduate from OCU being named an All-American in both 1984 and 1985. Saultz has been actively involved in pastoral ministry and counseling since his time at OCU. His daughter, Karissa, is currently a starter for OCU Women's Soccer.
The induction ceremony will take place in the Maxwell Leadership Center Dining Commons on Saturday, April 13th, at 3:00 PM. The brand new, redesigned Athletic Hall of Fame display will also be unveiled on the same day.
Saultz and Holbrook will be the 9th and 10th inductees into the Hall of Fame. They join the following Hall of Fame members that were either previously inducted or have had their jerseys retired.
