The Ohio Christian Men's Soccer program continued to make progress in the '08 campaign by beating Appalachian Bible College 1-0 in an exciting finish to a tough fought game. The Trailblazers (6-0-0) controlled the ball much throughout the game but could not find a goal against a tough, spirited ABC defense.
For the first time in OCU Athletics, a sport is ranked #1 in the Nation. The men's soccer team has achieved this feat with a 6-0-0 record. The rankings come out every Tuesday and the men moved from #5 to #1 in this weeks ranks.
Senior Marlaina Shotsky was honored as NCCAA Division II Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 15th. Shotsky led Ohio Christian University to three regional wins this past week over Johnson Bible College, Crown College, and 2007 Mid East Regional Champion Kentucky Christian University.
