OCU Signs Point Guard Austin Chatman

Austin is a 2008 graduate from Harvest Prep High School. Austin averaged 7.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg, and 4.2 apg." Austin is a fine young man who works hard and plays good defense. He has a strong basketball IQ and will have the opportunity to play the 1 or 2 spot for our basketball program. Men's Basketball Signs Centerville High School Senior

Ohio Christian University recently signed 6' 7" James Nelson. James is a senior center at Centerville high school near Dayton Ohio. "We have looked at James several times this year and feel like he has a lot of potential. James can be timid and is a quiet person until you get to know him.

Women's Basketball Signs Eastmoor Academy's 6'0 Post Standout

The Lady Traiblazers signed Asia Glenn, a 6'0 post player from Eastmoor Academy in Columbus,  this weekend. Glenn averaged a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) this season and was an All-City League selection. Read more »

Lady Blazers Receive Another Recruit Committment

The OCU women's basketball team received another recruit committment last week. Germany's Janel Briscoe, a 5'5 point guard from Patch High School in Stuttgart, Germany, committed to play for the Lady Blazers next season. Briscoe averaged 15 points, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game in her senior season. Read more »

Men's Basketball Sign Another Recruit

Coach Christopher signed 6' 6'' center Cornelius Oliver who will be transferring from Columbus State this next semester to play for the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers. Cornelius is from Columbus, OH and attended Briggs High School. "Cornelius is very athletic and will help us in the paint with rebounding and shot blocking. He is quick off his feet and has soft hands around the rim. Read more »
