Harris Is OCU's All-Time Goal Scoring Leader

OCU Men's Soccer have a big weekend

For the second year in a row, the OCU Men's Soccer took the NCCAA Mid-East Regional Regular season title by defeating Johnson Bible College on Friday 3-2 and Crown College on Saturday 4-0.  The men swept through the regular season with a perfect 8-0-0 record against their regional foes.  The wins also marked the most wins in a season for an OCU soccer team with 12.  The previous

OCU men defeat KCU 7-2

The men faired well against KCU by beating them 7-2.  The OCU men jumped out early and never looked back by scoring in the 3rd minute and again in the 14th minute.  "This is the third game in a row that we have come out fast and it's good to see as the regular season is coming to a close" mentioned Head Coach Josh Murton.

Harris Ties all-time goal record

Emanuel Harris scored 2 goals against OSU-Mansfield which moves him in a tie with the all-time scoring record at OCU.  Terry Bosworth has held the record for 17 years with 40 goals. 

OCU Mens Soccer Topple OSU-Mansfield

The day was an opportunity to honor a player at OCU who never got to play.  Derrick Ising after signing his letter of intent to OCU suddenly died in July of 2008.  The men had a heavy heart and a strong confidence to win as OCU beat OSU-Mansfield 6-1.  "It was a good day for us to pay our respects and go out and win another one in honor of Derrick" mentioned Coach Murton. 

Trailblazers Lose Tightly Contested Match

Ohio Christian Women's Volleyball dropped a close match to Southern State with scores of 16-25, 24-26, 26-24, 24-26.

"Tonight's contest showed just how much the team has improved since the last contest versus Southern State," said Head Coach Wes Brothers. "Our defense continues to be solid.

OCU Men's and Women's vs. JBC Time changed

The OCU Men's and Women's soccer game time on Oct. 16th versus Johnson Bible College has been changed.  It will now be the women at 2pm and the men at 4pm.  It was originally set for a 3 and 5 start time.

OCU Volleyball drops match to OSU-Marion

Ohio Christian Women's Volleyball fell to the Scarlet Wave with scores of 13-25, 23-25, 12-25.

"Our serve receive percentage is showing some consistency," stated Coach Brothers.

Harris Closes in on Goal Record

Emanuel Harris closes in on the OCU scoring record held by Terry Bosworth who played for the school back in 1988-1992.  Harris has scored 38 career goals for the Trailblazers and is 2 shy of Bosworths mark of 40.
