Men's Soccer sign another Delong

The men's soccer program has its first brother tandem in recent history with signing Alex Delong from local school Teays Valley. Alex is the brother of Anthony who was seen in the starting line up through out last season. Both played together in high school and currently in club soccer.

In 2009, Alex helped Teays Valley win their first Mid-State League title in school histor

All-State Guard Signs with Lady Blazers

Kendra Blair, a 5'9 guard from Newark Catholic High School, signed this week to play basketball for the Lady Trailblazers next year. Blair, who received 1st Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Ohio this season, was a three year starter and two year captain for the Green Wave. Kendra averaged 17 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in her senior campaign.

Five Blazers Named All Region Baseball; Blevins Player of the Year

The NCCAA All MidEast Region Team was announced at the conclusion of the regional championship on Wednesday. Junior Michael Blevins was named the Player of the Year for the region which means an automatic birth on the All American Team for 2010.

OCU Baseball Wins First Regional Championship

The OCU Baseball Team added to the great OCU Athletic Season Wednesday with an 11-1 win over Freewill Baptist to capture the Mid East Regional Championship at Chillicothe's VA Stadium. The win sends the Blazers to the National Baseball Championships in Mason, Ohio May 12-15.

Pitching and defense again led the Blazers with Michael Blevins pitching a complete game for the win.

OCU Baseball One Win From Regional Championship

The Blazer Baseball Squad took a big step on Tuesday with a 9-1 win over Johnson Bible College to advance to the championship game of the Mid East Regionals. OCU relied on pitching and defense to win over the Preachers at the VA Stadium in Chillicothe. Steven Vogelgesang picked up the win on the mound with a complete game performance giving up just 2 hits.

The men's soccer program signed it's second recruit of the off-season by signing Sebastian Bohorquez from Bishop Watterson High School. Watterson, a top team in division 2 Columbus soccer over the past few decades, has produced many top soccer players in the region. OCU Emanuel Harris Moves on to a Professional Career

"Eman" has signed with the Rio Grande Valley Bravos, a USL Priemier team in southern Texas. He marks the 1st player from OCU to move on to the professional ranks.

Baritones Dominic Lehman and Burt James Complete Senior Recitals

The Music Department presented Dominic Lehman and Burt James in Senior Recitals on April 16 and April 17. The two baritones are completing the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education.

Their recitals included sacred art songs, spirituals, arias, and art songs by Franz Schubert, George F.

Baseball Regional Moved to VA Stadium on Tuesday

The NCCAA Baseball Regional tournament slated to begin Monday at OCU, has been postponed till Tuesday and moved to the VA Stadium in Chillicothe due to the rain and wet conditions. The schedule change now has Freewill and Johnson meeting Tuesday at 9:30 am, with the winner facing number 1 seed OCU at approximately 11:45 am. Losers of the two games will play again at 2 pm Tuesday.

Blevins Signs to Play Basketball at OCU

Senior Patrick Blevins of Liberty Union High School will be joining the Trailblazers of Ohio Christian University for their 2010-2011 season as he signed his letter of intent last week to play basketball.
