Lady Blazers Defeat OCAC Rival Valor Christian

The OCU women's basketball team traveled down the road to Valor Christian College on Monday night for an OCAC (Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference) match-up with the Lady Warriors. OCU was able to use its full court pressure defense and transition game to wear down the Lady Warriors, jumping to a 37-18 first half lead.

Lady Blazers Win Three More

Deondra Jessie Signs with Lady Blazers

OCU women's basketball coach Mandy Wray signed Deondra Jessie, the first recruit to commit to play for the Lady Blazers next season.  Jessie, a 6'3 forward, transferred to OCU this spring from Central State University.  Deondra averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game in high school, and also received All-City honors.

Blazers Lose Buzzer Beater Against Rival KCU

Trailblazers lose buzzer beater in Grayson Kentucky Tuesday night against Kentucky Christian University 59 to 61. OCU led by 8 to 10 points most of the game. Neither team shot the ball well but both played hard on defense. OCU's Jeremy Hays had the job of guarding KCU's All American Casey Jones. Hays held him to only 5 points for the ball game. Lady Trailblazers Defeat KCU in Grayson
