Meet the Coaching Staff

Coach Curtis ChristopherCoach Christopher has been involved in organized basketball from elementary through the college level. He knows the fundamentals of the game and understands how to encourage players to reach their potential. Coach Christopher is no stranger to OCU. He came to OCU in 1997 and developed the men’s program. In 1999, his team earned an at-large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament. He took a few years off, and returned to coach this season to lead the Trailblazers to its best record ever, with 20 wins. The team also finished as the ACCA National Tournament Runner-up.

Coach Mandy WrayCoach Wray comes to us from a successful high school and college basketball career. Mandy played basketball as a child and has played at the highest collegiate division. Coach Wray played at James Madison University (NCAA Division I). She led the Dukes in scoring, field goal percentage, and steals in her last season, earning Team MVP honors. In her second season at the helm of the Lady Trailblazers, Coach Wray led OCU to a school record 17 wins. She was named the Mid-East Region Coach of the Year, as well as the ACCA National Coach of the Year.

The Goal

In addition to teaching the skills and concepts of basketball, our goal is to demonstrate and impart Christian values for your son or daughter during his or her time with us.

Your child will have the opportunity to learn from college athletes, coaches, and guest speakers whose talent and skill are complemented by sound Christian values. Campers will receive personal attention from these leaders and will be closely supervised at all times.

Basketball is not a game that can be mastered in a week, but we will plant seeds of leadership and success in the game and for life.

For more information, please contact Curtis Christopher at 740-477-7725 or ballcamp@ohiochristian.edu.

The cost of registration is $95.00.
