Dale Lear

Dale has been a professor at Ohio Christian University since 2005 where he teaches several business classes, basic math, and photography. Before joining O.C.U., he spent more than thirty years as a professional photographer and owned five studios. He also worked for a photography equipment manufacturer in Mobile, Alabama. He was a deputy sheriff in Gallia County for three years, involved in law enforcement and crime prevention work as well as crime-scene photography.
He has a B.S. in Business with concentrations in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Real Estate, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and is currently working on a Doctorate in Business with a concentration in e-Commerce.
Dale and his wife Becky, live in the Rio Grande area and have 12 dogs. They have a son, Jesse, who owns a recycling business in Columbus, a daughter, Lacey, who works in New York City in the fashion industry, and a daughter, Lani, who is in Spain completing a study-abroad semester.
He enjoys photography, reading, blogging, and writing. He is currently putting the finishing touches on a murder mystery.
