The Disaster Management and Relief Program at Ohio Christian University is designed To train students to build, sustain, and improve their capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, and recover from all hazards, natural & man-made. Graduates of this program will be trained to serve humanity at all stages of the Emergency Management cycle.
Disastrous situations have beset individuals and communities since the beginning of history. These events continue to plague humanity even today. Educated and trained individuals with the knowledge and skills for managing such occurrences can lessen their impacts on society and make a real difference.
