OCU Faculty Rated Outstanding by Students

Students at Ohio Christian University are extremely pleased with their faculty as being outstanding in knowledge, relationship, and accessibility. In fall 2013, students were invited to participate in surveys through the higher education consulting group Noel Levitz. Participating in these national surveys allows OCU to compare their student satisfaction with others around the country.

In the traditional undergraduate program, current OCU students showed high levels of satisfaction with faculty and instruction as compared to other categories. The comparison points were OCU students in 2009 as well as students in national four-year private institutions and institutions who are members of the Association for Biblical Higher Education.

In the College of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS), online students demonstrated high levels of satisfaction. Their results were compared with OCU students in 2009 as well as students in national online programs.

Also in AGS, students who attend onsite locations were highly satisfied with faculty and instruction. Their results were compared with onsite students in 2009 as well as students in national adult onsite programs.

These results confirm the high levels of satisfaction demonstrated in end-of-course evaluations and alumni surveys. Ohio Christian University is continually seeking feedback from current students, recent graduates, long-time alumni, and advisory groups so that improvements can continue to strengthen students’ satisfaction and preparation for service.

Ohio Christian University, founded in 1948 and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation, is committed to offering a complete education that develops students intellectually, professionally, and spiritually.
