Lois Waggoner

Lois Waggoner, a graduate of Asbury University, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1970, and a Master’s degree in Education from Butler University in 1974. Her teaching experiences have been varied. Beginning with primary grades, she taught in rural Kentucky, inter-city Indianapolis, abroad in Kenya, Africa, and most recently in Heath, OH. While employed by Heath City Schools, Lois returned to graduate school to secure a certification as a School Library Media Specialist. During this teaching assignment, Lois taught Middle and Junior High students. In 2002, she accepted a position as part of the Teacher Education Faculty at Ohio Christian University where she currently teaches in both the Early and Middle Childhood programs.
Lois and her husband, Carl, were married in 1970. They have been blessed with 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 7 grandchildren. Special family times at holidays and summers are greatly treasured. The Waggoner family enjoys traveling, gardening, and all types of boating and water activities. Carl and Lois are members of Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster, OH, where they appreciate many opportunities for service.
