Lonnie Potts is an affiliate instructor in the Ohio Christian University religion department with the responsibility to train ministry students in the practical aspects of pastor life and work. Serving in this capacity since 1993, he has mentored and equipped dozens of young men and women, who currently serve as pastors and lay leaders in the church. A lead pastor for 33 years, he served his last pastorate for over two decades, leading the congregation through a multi-million dollar growth and relocation project.
He has conducted numerous revivals, camp meetings, and pastors conferences throughout the Midwest and Southeast. His passion to see pastors succeed in ministry for a lifetime led to the founding of Give Me Five Ministries Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 training and coaching organization designed to assist clergy in the development of the character, competence, and connections necessary for ministry success in the 21st century. A gifted speaker and anointed group leader, many pastors and church leaders have benefited from his on-site, cost effective, relevant pastor training and coaching events.
