Pastoral Intervention in Crisis

Dr. Jim Smith will provide insight and in-depth understanding into the principles of dealing with crises as a pastor. Jim's extensive life experience as a pastor and a licensed counselor and supervising counselor in the State of Ohio will provide deep insight into this pastoral role.
This course is designed to provide the pastor with an understanding of the dynamics of crisis intervention. Various aspects of handling the crisis and working with the people involved will be considered. Several types of crises common to humanity will be presented for evaluation and consideration along with models of appropriate pastoral intervention.
