Master of Arts in Ministry
Enrich your ministry skills by completing your graduate degree.
Complete your graduate degree in two years while maintaining other important commitments to your family, ministry, and career. Ohio Christian University has developed its Master of Arts Program in Ministry to enhance the ministry skills of pastors and lay leaders in the local church. The program will prepare you to serve even more effectively in the church and society, whether you are in paid or lay ministry.
Pastoral Care and Counseling Track
The Pastoral Care and Counseling Track is designed for those who feel the need for enhanced skills in their ministry role of pastoral counselor. The program is not designed to qualify the graduate to work as a licensed counselor but better equips one for this type of ministry in the pastoral context.
Practical Theology Track
The Practical Theology Track is designed for experienced ministers as well as those who feel called to dedicate their lives to the work of the ministry. This program is designed to develop the student's skills in applying theological principles to current ministry challenges.
