Connecting to OCUNet using Dorm or Wireless Connections

Desktop Connections

Each dorm room is equipped with two network connections for student computers. Please bring only your pc box to the IT office for hookup to the network. If you have a password assigned to your desktop please disable it for hookup. You will be required to sign a form indicating your agreement to have read and agreed to all policies pertaining to OCUNet.

Recommended Minimum PC Requirements for Network Use:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP or later
  • Functioning Network Interface Card

Recommended Minimum Apple Requirements for Network Use:

  • MacOS version 10.3 or later
  • Functioning Network Interface Card

Laptop Connections

Each dorm room is equipped with a network connection for student computers. Please bring your laptop to the IT office for hookup to the network. If you have a password assigned to your laptop please disable it for hookup.
