As part of an ongoing effort to communicate valuable and timely information to the OCU community
we have added features which allow departments to update their departmental web pages regularly.
This session will address posting articles intended to keep students, future students, and parents
updated on what is happening at Ohio Christian University.

CLASSROOM AUDIO/VIDEO TECHNOLOGY (1 HOUR)
Come and learn about the Audio/Video equipment that is available for our faculty members in the classroom. Learn how to power on the equipment, switch to secondary input for a laptop, learn about the different inputs and settings for audio, learn different tips and tricks that will help your presentation/lecture run much smoother.

MICROSOFT POWERPOINT (1 HOUR)
Do your presentations need a face lift? Then PowerPoint is a training session you won’t want to miss! After covering some basics, we’ll learn how to:
- Create slideshows from a group of images or an outline.
- Crop and style images with a few simple tricks.
- Add transitions and animations to your whole presentation or individual elements.
- Master slides, style sets, and color schemes.
BONUS! Attendees will receive two custom style sets and color schemes (which they will know how to install and use after the workshop!).

STORING AND ACCESSING YOUR OCU FILES (1 HOUR)
Exploring Netstorage and G/H drives, departmental drives.
- What is the difference between a drive and a directory (or folder)?
- How to move multiple files between folders simultaneously.
- Compressing and extracting ZIP files.
- Changing the view for a director (i.e. list vs. details vs. thumbnails)
- Renaming files and folders

Show your spreadsheets some love! This session will briefly cover the basics of Excel, then we’ll explore features that can help you minimize the time and effort needed to make great spreadsheets and reports:
- Data types and visual formatting.
- Working with formulas.
- Creating charts and graphs.
- Sorting and filtering.
