Recruiter for Online Degree Programs (CAGS)

Ohio Christian University is seeking an Online Recruiter for its College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS). Join a team of evangelical Christian professionals at this fast growing university focused on serving God.

Under supervision, the Recruiter will:

  • Follow up with prospective students through phone, email and mailings to meet aggressive enrollment goals
  • Track incoming applicant paperwork for each cohort start and oversee SONIS database updates
  • Articulate scholarship and financial aid options
  • Articulate student Transcript Reviews
  • Generate leads by seeking referrals from prospective students, applicants and current students and by making contacts and setting up displays in local churches and businesses
  • Assist other program staff with duties and responsibilities as needed, and perform functions for the program that may involve local travel and occasional evening and weekend hours.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of two years direct student recruitment experience required
  • Excellent communication skills (including telephone and interpersonal)
  • Evidence of “goal-oriented” performance
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Positive attitude and high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Enjoy working on a multi-faceted team in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to deliver professional presentations to small and large groups
  • Experience in student recruitment preferred
  • Driver’s license for local travel
