OCU Baseball Sweeps Southern State

The OCU Baseball squad ran their winning streak to three games with a 15-1 and 10-1 sweep of Southern State on Saturday.

Michael Blevins picked up the win in game one while Ryan Black went six innings for the win in game 2. Stefan Vasiloff saw his first action on the mound with one inning of relief in each game.

Black and Brandon Metzgar led the offense in game one with two hits a piece. Metzgar drove in two runners with his hits. In the nightcap, Kelton Sines cracked three hits including a triple and drove home two runs. Vasiloff, Blevins, and Ronnie Goodwin all had two hits each with Goodwin also knocking in a pair of runs. Adam Peters, Brandon Zimmerman, Black, and Max Ray all had rbi's in game two.

The Blazers travel to OSU Mansfield Tuesday, to UC Clermont for 2 on Thursday, and host Johnson Bible this Saturday at the VA in Chillicothe.
