Brandon Kopis Signs with OCU Soccer

Ohio Christian University men's soccer team adds another to the roster. Brandon Kopis, a senior at Fairfield Union High School, signed with the Trailblazers to play in the upcoming 2011 season. Kopis will bring experience to this team, playing all four years at Fairfield Union, along with a club team at Pride S.C. for the past three springs. During his high school and club career, Kopis has been selected to the All-District Team and 1st Team All Mid-State League.

Not only does Brandon have experience in playing, he has love and respect for the game. He works hard and is a humble individual. Coach Murton comments, "He is very versatile. We can play him up top, on a mid-field wing, or even in center-mid." Looking at his high school stats, Brandon totaled 34 goals and 19 assists. Someone with these numbers can be very versatile on an OCU squad.

The men open up the 2011 season at Asbury University on August 26 at 7pm.
