Men's Soccer Sign 1st Recruit of 2012 Season

OCU Men's soccer added their first recruit of 2012, a transfer from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan, Asny (AC) Gracelein.  AC is originally from Lauderhill, Florida where he graduated from Northwest High School.  He was the team MVP in 2010 in which Northwest HS won the District Championship.  He was also named Defensive Player of the Month, twice.  He also play club ball for South Florida F.C.

While at Marygrove in 2010, he started in 6 games and played in 15 as a freshman helping lead his team to a 11-7-0 record.  "We are excited to have AC here at OCU.  He brings a very competitive nature while also have a solid focus on God and what HE is doing in his (AC) life.  He will add depth to our defense and has a love and desire for the game" mentioned Coach Murton.

OCU, fresh off a #2 finish in the nation, will be adding AC to a defense who gave up very little in the 2010 campaign.  They gave up only 1.6 goals per game in 2010, second only in school history to the 2009 mark of 1.4 goals per game.  "AC will compete for a spot on our right defensive wing.  He's very fast and has a strong heart.  So were extremly excited to see him here".

OCU starts spring training in April 11th and will start Fall practice on August 15th.
