Kids on Campus Coming Again This Summer

Kids on Campus is a summer enrichment program for students who are interested in improving their Math, Science, and Technology skills through exciting, hands-on activities. Registration for these classes has begun for students completing the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade and continues until May 22nd.“We lowered participating age to first grade this year, based upon the many requests we had last year,” said Christy Mills, Executive Director of Pickaway HELPS (Higher Education Learning Partners for Students). “We hated to turn them away, so this year these students can now participate!”Micah Smith participated in Kids on Campus last year, then seven years old. When Ohio Christian University President Mark Smith asked what he had learned in math, Micah replied, “Dad, I didn’t learn anything. We just played.”  Smith responded, “Great teachers make learning fun.”Tuition is $35 per class, which includes materials and a colorful t-shirt!
