Blazers Take Number One Spot in Mid-East Region

The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers were on the road this weekend in the warm climate of Knoxville Tennessee. On Friday night OCU took on The Crown College with a 97 - 62 victory. Stefan Vasiloff shot an unheard of 12 of 15 from the field leading with 25 points, 10 boards, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals. Rickshontae Spell had 19 points, 5 assists, and an impressive 6 steals. William Lomax added 19 points, 10 boards, and 2 blocks. Saturday OCU beat Johnson Bible College 109 - 73. William Lomax led the team with 24 points and 5 boards. Rickshontae Spell had 23 points, 5 boards and 3 steals. Stefan Vasiloff added 22 points and 13 boards. This ends the Trailblazers league play for the season. They are 9 and 1 in the league putting them at number one. Their only loss was to Kentucky Christian University early in the semester. The Trailblazers have one more regular season game against World Harvest on Friday and then travel to Kentucky on the 27th to play in the Mid-East regional tournament.
