Faculty Profile: Angela Flowers Joins Teacher Education

Angela Flowers, M.Ed., has joined the Department of Teacher Education as Instructor of Education. Angela has been the Preschool Intervention Specialist for the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities and is a licensed K-12 Intervention and P-3 Early Childhood Intervention specialist.

A general education teacher, Angela earned her bachelor degree in early childhood education, her master degree in K-12 intervention, and completed additional coursework to become a specialist in Early Childhood intervention as well.

In addition to instructing, Angela advises students, is a clinical supervisor for early childhood education, and is developing a program for training intervention specialists for whom there exists a growing need.

“I was called into teaching many years ago,” Angela explains. “I am very excited to be helping our future educators become the best teachers in the field!”
