FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid

FAFSA Workshop on October 7 in Maxwell Center

Attend this student financial aid workshop on October 7 on OCU’s Circleville campus from 9-to-11 am in Maxwell Center, Room EC105. Call Christy Mills at 740-474-5583 for details.

To be eligible for need-based financial aid, you must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your application may be filed at fafsa.ed.gov with OCU's School Code of 003030.  You may submit your 2018-2019 FAFSA beginning October 1st, using your 2016 federal tax return.

By completing your FAFSA, you are applying for both federal and state grants, as well as federal student loans. Money received as a grant is for your higher education costs and does not have to be paid back, unlike student loans. Your financial aid adviser cannot easily (or accurately!) determine your financial aid eligibility until you have submitted a completed FAFSA and any applicable verification. In order to receive financial aid you are required to complete the FAFSA annually.

By submitting a FAFSA, you are applying for federal grants—a Pell Grant and a Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)—as well as, in Ohio, an Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG). By submitting a FAFSA, you may receive a grant of up to $5,500 per year!
