Last year was a great success, raising over $20,000 for Ohio Christian University scholarships and programs through The Chester and Jean Mitchell Linking Legacies Scholarship and Ministry Support Endowment Fund. So far, more than $90,000 has been given to scholarships.
Ohio Christian University traveled to Lansing, Michigan Friday, August 29th for the Great Lakes Christian College Tournament. The Trailblazers dropped three matches and pulled away with two victories to begin the 2008 season.
The men's soccer program started the '08 campaign with something that few others have done in the past. Win their first game. The men traveled to Southern State C.C. and started scoring early.
Vogelgesang, a pitcher and center fielder, signed to play baseball for the Trailblazers this spring. His high school team made it to the State Finals, where he threw 7 innings and 133 pitches.
Register for the 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on October 3, 2008. The cost of registration is $500 per team, with a tax deductible portion of $55.00 per individual.

Jim Dillard comes to the OCU soccer program with 3 years of varsity under his belt with Northeastern High School. A hard working midfielder will fit well into Coach Murton's fold, "Jim is a hard worker. I look forward to having him on our squad and having him bring that work ethic to our squad."
