OCU Music Professor Elected Vice President of Music Teachers National Association

Dr. Rebecca JohnsonOhio Christian University Professor, Dr. Rebecca Johnson, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Music Teachers National Association as Vice President for the 2011 - 2013 biennium.  Dr. Johnson in a graduate of Capital University and completed her Ph.D. at The Ohio State University.  She is Associate Editor for Clavier Companion magazine and publishes a tri-annual feature article titled "What's New in Pedagogy Research" in  MTNA's national journal - American Music Teacher. Dr. Johnson has served as Professor of Music at Ohio Christian University since 2008 and will be inducted into office at the national MTNA conference in Milwaukee at the end of this month.
