OCU Win 5 in a Row

The OCU men win their 5th game in a row, marking the second best win streak in OCU Men's history, second only to last years 6-0 start. The OCU men didn't do it quietly though as they gave up a 3-1 lead, to visiting Crown College, late in the game. In the 80th minute Crown scored on a rare lapse of the OCU defense and one minute later scored again on a phenomenal goal making it 3-3. Not to be outdone, Kevin Street (OCU Junior Defender) made an overlapping run down the wing, crossed the ball to Emanuel Harris (OCU Soph. Forward) in the 84th minute to take home the victory. "Both are team captains and obviously for good reason. We rely on them to make big plays and they did again today" mentioned Coach Murton.

The OCU men move to 5-0 overall and play against Malone College, a rare visit from an NAIA team. "Malone will come in and give us a great opportunity to see where we are in the progress of this program. We all have worked extremely hard to make this program what it is today, but we have a lot more ahead of us," elaborates Coach Murton. The game against Malone is a home game on Tuesday at 5pm.
