Ohio Christian University Volleyball Ranked #11

With the final NCCAA Division II rankings out, OCU volleyball ends the regular season ranked #11. Having defeated two NAIA teams over the past weekend, the Lady Trailblazers are looking to bring that momentum into the regional tournament. Ohio Christian has the #3 seed in the NCCAA Division II Mid East region and is set to play Appalachian Bible College at 10 am and Cincinnati Christian University at 6 pm on Friday, October 31st.
"Appalachian has improved a great deal since the beginning of the season," stated Head Coach Wes Brothers. "We are looking forward to starting off the tournament with a tough match against the host team."
"We expect Cincinnati Christian to come out with desire and display tough defense," said Brothers. "They have an outside hitter that is probably the best outside in the region in Taylor Farris in addition to several other offensive weapons. We know that we need to play them very well and look forward to having another opportunity on Friday."
This year's NCCAA Mid East Regional Tournament will be held at Appalachian Bible College in Mt. Hope, West Virginia Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st.
