OCU to Host Trunk or Treat on October 30th

Ohio Christian University's Small Group Ministry will be joining with each residence hall, sports team and campus department to host its second annual Trunk or Treat for the Circleville community on Thursday, October 30th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative for families with children to enjoy the American tradition of trick or treating. Volunteers from OCU decorate their car trunks with a non-scary scene such as Noah's Ark or Candy Land and pass out candy to guests. "We hope to show the love and joy we have in Christ by embracing guests with smiles, and of course lots of candy," said Anastasia Beavers, OCU's Small Group Ministry Coordinator. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, you can help by donating individually-wrapped candy. "Our goal is to collect around 60,000 pieces of candy," said Beavers. If you are interested in helping, please bring your candy or donation to the Office of Student Development located on the second floor of the Dean and Diana Hickman Student Center. For more infomation, contact Anastasia Beavers at abeavers@ohiochristian.edu by October 24th.Note: Due to inclement weather, this event was moved from Tuesday, October 28th to Thursday, October 30th.
