Trailblazers Lose Tightly Contested Match

Ohio Christian Women's Volleyball dropped a close match to Southern State with scores of 16-25, 24-26, 26-24, 24-26.

"Tonight's contest showed just how much the team has improved since the last contest versus Southern State," said Head Coach Wes Brothers. "Our defense continues to be solid. The challenge for us now is to stay aggressive and finish on the offensive side."

Ohio Christian University Women's volleyball has a record of 3-14 and a NCCAA MidEast Region record of 2-4.

The Trialblazers were led by Freshman Linette Shetler who had 27 digs, Sophomore Kristen Uetrecht who earned 33 assists, and Junior Marissa Tackett who tallied 12 kills.

Ohio Christian Volleyball travels to Grayson, Kentucky Tuesday, October 13th to face Kentucky Christian University. OCU's final home match is Thursday, October 15th at 6 pm versus MidEast Regional opponent Appalachian Bible College.
