Ohio Christian Upsets Clark State
The OCU Volleyball team pulled out a close road win over OCAC opponent Clark State Community College 15-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23. Five OCU hitters had 7 or more kills in the 4 set victory. Freshman Ashley Southard had a solid match with 10 kills and a 21% hitting percentage. Freshman Rachel Briggs chipped in 3 aces at critical moments in the match.
OCU Volleyball Takes Road Win
The OCU Women's Volleyball team downed the Warriors of Appalachian Bible College 25-9, 25-16, 25-17. OCU's two middle hitters had near season high hitting percentages. Freshman Ashley Southard led the Trailblazers with 10 kills. Sophomore Linette Shetler chalked up 7 blocks in the win. "Appalachian is always a challenging environment to play in.
Trailblazer Basketball Opens in Exhibition Contest

Cougars Edge Trailblazers
The OCU Trailblazers lost a tightly contested match in 4 sets to the Cougars of UC-Clermont 25-11, 23-25, 19-25, 24-26. Freshman Ashley Southard led the team with 9 kills. Junior Kristen Uetrecht tallied 5 blocks and Freshman Tiffany Mosher had a season high 26 digs. "We continue to have great energy in that first set," stated Coach Wes Brothers.
