Rachel Briggs Signs with Lady Trailblazers Volleyball
There is a theme with the 2010 recruiting class and that is versatility, well developed skills, and excellent performance in the classroom. Rachel Briggs is the latest signee for the OCU Women's Volleyball 2010 season. She is the daughter of Joseph and Marie Briggs.
OCU Baseball Sweeps OSU Mansfield for 13 Season Wins
The OCU Baseball Team got back on the winning side Wednesday with a doubleheader sweep of OSU Mansfield at Olson Field. The Blazers scored 7 early runs in game one and then rode the right arm of Steven Vogelgesang to a 7-3 win. In game two, a nine run sixth inning broke a 6-6 tie and led to a 15-6 Blazer victory in the final game.
Lady Blazers Sign Local Standout Gretchen Meyer
Gretchen Meyer, a 6' post player from Amanda-Clearcreek High School, signed to play basketball for the Lady Trailblazers next year.  Gretchen was a 3 year Varsity starter and averaged 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists in during her senior season.  Meyer received 1st Team All-District honors and was also named to the Mid-State League 1st Team this season.  Gretchen was re
Lady Blazers Sign Taijah Brooks
The Lady Blazers will have their first set of sisters on the team next year.  Taijah Brooks, Danielle Fleming's sister, signed to play with the Lady Trailblazers this week.  Taijah, a 5'10 forward, comes from Columbus State Community College.  Head Coach Mandy Wray said, "Taijah is an excellent defender with long arms and a nose for the ball on the boards.  She is
