Lady Trailblazers Volleyball fall to KCU
Ohio Christian University dropped three sets to the Lady Knights of Kentucky Christian University 12-25, 17-25, 19-25. Freshman Mary Ashbaucher led the team with 4 aces and Freshman Tiffany Mosher led the defensive effort with 9 digs. "We made a lot of unforced errors early and KCU is not a team you can do that against and expect to pull off a win," said Coach Wes Brothers.
OCU Volleyball Pick Up Conference Win
Ohio Christian University defeated the Warriors of Appalachian Bible College in three sets 25-9, 25-14, 25-17. Freshmen Ashley Southard led the attacking with 7 kills and Sophomore Linette led the team with 4 aces. "This was a fun match to watch," said Coach Wes Brothers.
Lady Trailblazers Volleyball loses to the Crown College
Ohio Christian University lost in four sets to the Crown College Lady Crusaders 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 21-25. Sophomore Meredith Fairrow had a season high 32% hitting percentage. Southard and Shetler led with 11 and 9 kills respectively. Mosher led the defense with 16 digs. "Our goal was to reduce our hitting errors and we did that," said Coach Brothers.
OCU Volleyball drops match to Johnson Bible
Ohio Christian University was defeated in four sets by the Johnson Bible College Evangels 23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 14-25. Freshmen Ashley Southard and Sophomore Linette Shetler contributed 21 kills. Freshmen Tiffany Mosher had a season high 24 digs. "The team had good energy in sets one and two," said Coach Brothers.
