OCU loses to KCU
Ohio Christian lost to Kentucky Christian in straight sets 12-25, 22-25, 14-25. Sophomore Hillary Stump led the offense with 7 kills. Tiffany Mosher led the team with 18 digs. "We came out slow in the first set, but picked up the intensity in the second set," said Coach Wes Brothers.
OCU Drops Two Regional Contests
Ohio Christian lost its first match of the 2010 season at Johnson Bible College 23-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-15. OCU then traveled to Powell, Tennessee where they fell short in a 10-25, 17-25, 25-27 loss to the Crown College. In the Johnson Bible match, Ashley Southard led the team with 10 kills and Hillary Stump tallied 8 kills in the loss to JBC.
OCU Takes First Regional Match
Ohio Christian tallied a win over the Free Will Baptist Bible College Flames with scores of 25-21, 25-8, 25-16. In the first NCCAA MidEast Region matchup, OCU rallied behind a balanced offense to earn the win.
