OCU Volleyball Begins Season with Win
Lady Trailblazers defeated the Warriors of Appalachian Bible College 20-25, 25-13, 28-26, 25-18. "Playing the Warriors on the road is always a challenge," said Head Coach Wes Brothers. "The team showed improvement over the course of the match, however, we will need to focus on reducing our unforced errors." The third set saw the Trailblazers down at one point 20-23.

Women's Soccer Season Outlook
This year, 2009, marks an exciting year for OCU women.  The inaugural season opens this year and there is much to be excited about! The women's team is a varsity team; this allows them to play in post season play in the NCCAA. Due to their first year status, the women have eight regular season games.

In Remembrance of Mrs. Laura Maxwell
Mrs. Laura Maxwell passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.   She was the wife of Dr. Melvin Maxwell, who served as OCU President from 1964-80.

On July 6-8, Oho Christian University Soccer teamed up with Countryside Church of the Nazarene in Darbyville to put on a camp for the local youth. Over 40 kids attended in which they learned the basics of soccer and were "Kickin it with Jesus".
