Trailblazers Fall to Mt. Vernon
Ohio Christian University Trailblazers fell to Mt. Vernon Nazarene Cougars 72 to 84. The game was as good as it gets for the fans of the Trailblazers. There were multiple lead changes and many highlight plays. Due to foul trouble late in the first half the Cougars made a late half run going into the locker room up 41 to 30.
Lady Blazers Down OU-Chillicothe
The Lady Trailblazers came out blazing on Wednesday, jumping to an early first half lead of 24-5. But foul trouble plagued the OCU women, and the Lady Hilltoppers fought their way back with a run of their own. Trailblazer Basketball Starts Season with Wins
Ohio Christian University Men's Basketball team started the season this weekend with their annual Tip-Off Tournament. The Trailblazers won both contests. Friday night OCU faced Clark State and won 76 to 56. On Saturday, the Trailblazers went on to defeat Wright State Lake, 88 to 75. All-American senior guard Stefan Vasiloff started right where he left off a year ago.
OCU Draws Two-Time Defending National Champs
The Mid-East Region Champs, OCU was seeding #7 for the up and coming NCCAA National tournament. Their draw is 2-time defending National Champs Manhattan Christian College. MCC has been a force in the NCCAA of late but that doesn't concern Coach Murton. "We want to be the best, so we have to play the best. It doesn't concern me at all.| Attachment | Size |
