Self Pay Students

Self pay is for students who may not receive state funding because the student did not apply for it, were denied funding or lives outside of the state of Ohio. Trailblazer Academy courses are significantly discounted to $160 per credit hour for students who are Self-Pay.

Application Process

Traditional Admissions

  1. Submit a completed application along with a $25 non-refundable application fee. Apply Online
  2. Submit an official high school transcript to Ohio Christian University Admissions Office
  3. If you have not yet taken the ACT or SAT, you may attend one of our scheduled ACT test dates.
  4. Submit Minister's Reference Form and give it to your Minister/Pastor, asking that the questionnaires be completed and returned immediately.

Trailblazer Academy

  1. Complete the paper or online application (no application fee). Return Students, complete the Short Form Application
  2. Submit an official high school transcript to Ohio Christian University Trailblazer Academy Office
  3. Submit ACT/SAT/COMPASS** scores
