OCU’s Disaster Management Program Sends another Relief Team to Haiti

Ohio Christian University is continuing its work supporting the people of Haiti.  OCU recently sent another relief trip to Haiti.  This latest 10 person team, made up of students, alumni, and an OCU board member, will be traveling to Haiti on Sept, 4, and working through the 11th.

Mark it down on your calendars.  OCU Soccer Alumni are asked to come and play on October 2nd at 10:00am against the newly formed OCU JV team.  Last year was such a good turnout that we are adding to the alumni event that day.  Our schedule is:

  • 10:00am - OCU Alumni vs. OCU Men's JV
  • 12:00pm - OCU Women vs. Grace Bible College
  • 2:00pm - OCU Men vs.

Rodney Sones to Direct Community Choir during City and County Bicentennial Celebration

As part of the city and county bicentennial celebration, Dr. Rodney Sones, director of the OCU Chorale and Chamber Singers, has been invited to conduct the Circleville Community Choir in a performance of the Joseph Martin musical Of Faith and Freedom. The venue will be the West Main platform, on Tuesday, October 19 at 6 PM, just before the bicentennial parade, at 7:00.
