Trailblazer Academy

Trailblazer Academy

The Trailblazer Academy offers high school students the opportunity to take college courses at Ohio Christian University through Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO). What this means is that students can complete several hours of college credit before they officially enter college! Trailblazer Academy courses are fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and the Ohio Board of Regents and will transfer to any college or university.

Through Trailblazer Academy, students have the possibility to take college courses on the university campus or online.  Online courses have been formatted specifically for the PSEO student population. These online courses will contain only PSEO students, so the online discussions will be applicable to where they are in their academic, social and personal lifespan development.

To participate, students may be in grades 9 through 12.  Students must meet 2 out of the 3 requirements: a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, have an ACT score of 22 or higher or be ranked in top 1/3 of their class. To apply, complete and submit a Trailblazer Academy application along with the student's high school transcripts and a reference letter from a guidance counselor.

Our goal is to provide quality education while nurturing excellence through learning.
