Trailblazer Athletics

In keeping with the traditional association of sports with education, intercollegiate athletics constitutes an integral and very visible part of OCU's education and spiritual purpose. Our university athletics program provides a link and rallying point to our community, students, faculty and alumni. Therefore, our Trailblazers are among our finest ambassadors. They are given the daily opportunity to demonstrate that leadership and competitiveness can effectively work together to provide opportunity for ministry through Ohio Christian University athletics.

At Ohio Christian University, champions are trained for success on and off the playing field. Competitors bloom while playing for an NCCAA National Championship; they become champions by serving the community around them. OCU coaches and players understand winning comes from excellence, and that character comes from perseverance. The campus community is also united together, rallying our Trailblazers on to victory.

OCU Athletics compete at the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II level. The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers compete in one of the NCCAA's toughest conferences, the Mid-East Region.
