Curtis Christopher, Head Coach

Coach Curtis Christopher is back to coach the OCU Trailblazers for the second time.  Coach Christopher is no stranger to OCU.   He came to the campus in 1997 to coach the men’s program and to direct the Information Technology department.  Over a four year period, Coach Christopher put together a respectable program gaining an at large bid in 1999 to the NCCAA national tournament in Oklahoma.

Prior to coming to OCU, Coach Christopher coached at the high school level in which he earned four straight final four and two state runner up awards.  In 2001 Coach Christopher took a break from coaching to help his wife Amy raise two children, Clayton and Coralie, and to pursue some other ventures.  Since that time Coach C has continued to direct the IT department.  He also co-founded a local Christian school and now serves as Vice President of IT and Operations for OCU.

Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University in 1992 and his Masters in Education from American Intercontinental University in 2000.

Coach Christopher is passionate about basketball, but even more passionate about helping young people find God’s will for their lives.   He takes great joy in using the game of basketball to help teach life lessons and believes that God has opened the door once again for him to help shape and mold some real world changers.
