Whitehall Yearling Hurler Logan Webb Signs with OCU Baseball

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - OCU Baseball has landed their first pitcher in the 2013 recruiting class.  Logan Webb signed his letter intent on Monday afternoon alongside his family and OCU Head Coach Brian Bigam in the Maxwell Leadership Center.

Webb was the ace for a young Whitehall Yearling High School program as a senior.  The hurler threw for a team high of 56.1 innings on the season, striking out a team leading 46 batters on the year.  Despite very little run support, Webb kept his team in games all season with an impressive 3.11 earned run average on the mound.

Webb enjoyed a strong career at WYHS.  During his sophomore and senior seasons he received All-League honors.  As a Junior he showed up big at the plate, knocking in a career high 10 rbi's.

Webb will join an OCU program that has reached the NCCAA World Series in four straight seasons.
