#3 Blazers Move to 12-2 with Road Win
The number three Ohio Christian University Trailblazers move to 12 and 2 with a road win over Ohio State University Mansfield 130 to 94. "Mansfield was small but quick" said OCU Coach Christopher. They pressed the whole game which in turn made us get up and down the floor a lot. This was the first game back from Christmas break and was good for the guys to get out and run. The problem with a run and gun game is that you have the potential to score a lot of points but in return can give up a lot of points in transition. Our half court defense has been looking really good in recent games but we did not see much half court. This game showed our deficiencies in our transition defense. We have more work to do." Stefan Vasiloff led all scorers with 31. Stefan also had 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Freshman Forward Jeremy Hays had 26 points and 16 rebounds. "Jeremy played very well in a fast pace game." Senior point guard Rickshontae Spell did his job with 10 assists, 3 steals and 8 points. Curtis Reni from Mansfield played well with 18 points and 7 rebounds. The Trailblazers are on the road this Friday against OSU Marion.
