Blazers Move to 19-3
The Trailblazers move to 19 and 3 with a win over Southern State by a score of 93 to 69. The team is now 8 and 0 in the Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference and could be the number one seed if they win against World Harvest Bible College on Friday. The Blazers had their hands full in Southern's shooting guard Tirrell Cumberland. Tirrell came into tonight's game averaging 35 points a game. "He has had one 50 point game and several 40 point games already this year against opponents." Said Coach Christopher. "We played our superstar defense against him, over guarding Tirrell and then playing 4 on 4 help side defense on everyone else. He still had 26 points." Said Coach. OCU's Stefan Vasiloff was down some in scoring tonight with only 13 points buy spent most of his time on the court guarding Tirrell. Sophomore Delorean Glanton had another good night with 14 points and 2 steals. Center Michael Baker had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Ohio Christian returns to the floor on Friday at World Harvest Bible College. This is a great rival game and is for the number one seed in the conference tournament.
