Blazers Open Regional Play with 83-59 Win Over Boyce College

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazers opened up Mid-East Region play on Tuesday night with a 83-59 victory over Boyce College from Louisville, Kentucky.  Ohio Christian went up 11-2 to open the contest and went into halftime with a comfortable 45-29 advantage.

The Blazers pushed the lead to as many as 30 points in the second half behind a balanced effort on both ends of the floor.  Ohio Christian coasted to victory down the stretch and went on to win 83-59.  

Freshman guard Danny Schrock had a game high and season high 20 points on 8 of 14 shooting, including 4 of 9 from three point range.

Evan Mills added 14 points and 8 rebounds for the Blazers.  Wesley Russell had a game high 11 assists and tossed in 9 points on 2 of 2 shooting.  

The Blazers will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this Wednesday as they take part in the Valley Forge Christian College Assemblies of God Basketball Classic.  OCU will take on Trinity College from North Dakota on Thursday at 4:00 PM to tip things off.
