Coach Stockman to Play in Battle of Ohio

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - OCU Head Coach Tony Stockman will be playing in the 2012 Battle of Ohio Celebrity Game as a member of Team Cleveland.  Stockman will join a group of players from the Cleveland area as they take on a team of celebrity players from Columbus and Central Ohio.  The game is slated for Saturday, July 7th at 12:00 PM.

Joining Stockman will be former buckeye David Lighty, current Cleveland Cavalier Tristan Thompson, former North Carolina star Jawad Williams, Sam Clancy, and Damon Stringer.  The Cleveland team will be coached by Clark Kellogg.

They will be facing Team Columbus which will feature Evan Turner of the Philadelphia 76ers, Former Big East Player of the Year Scoonie Penn, and former Los Angeles Laker Samaki Walker.  The Columbus team will be coached by Ron Stokes, a former buckeye and high school teammate of OCU alum Dwight Mason.

The event will be held on the campus of The Ohio State University at St. John Arena.  Tickets are still available for purchase HERE.  All proceeds will go to the Fisher House of Greater Cleveland.
